Season’s Greetings

Hi Everyone,

I'm back from an extended stay overseas, and would like to share three things with you.

This year has been fantastic - participating in WOMADelaide, Fringe Festival, Persian Gardens, various exhibitions at Art Space and Hawkers Street Galleries and even an article in SA Life magazine. A big thank you for all your support and for sharing these wonderful moments with me!

Update on Earthquake Donations
Earlier this year, at WOMADelaide 06, we accepted much needed donations for the earthquake disaster in Pakistan's northern region of Kashmir. I have since been in contact with a charity from Lahore and your generous donations are being utilized in the reconstruction of villages in the region.

Bonding with Henna
In the process of applying henna, I have enjoyed sharing my cultural stories and experiences while making some fantastic new friends.

I have recently imported a fresh stock of henna for my work and will be available for applying henna on birthdays, weddings and parties; bookings should be made two weeks in advance. Individual appointments are also welcome. Remember, each pattern is unique to a the person and cannot be repeated!

There have been repeated requests for me to start teaching Henna. Starting from 2007, I shall be offering short, beginner's classes on applying henna. Email me if you are interested and I'll let you know once the dates are finalized.

In addition to applying Henna, I am also supplying customized gifts and paintings from my studio and also Hawkers Street Gallery in Thebarton, SA.

Lastly, I'd like to share a quote by the late tennis great, Arthur Ashe, who once said, "From what we get we can make a living, what we give however, makes a life!"
