Henna Craft In Adelaide Shops

Photography by Mandi Whitten (www.weensyweb.com)

Its been very busy few months for me as Henna Craft (hennacraft.com.au) is slowing making it’s way to different retails shops around. It was my aim for this year and I can’t stop thanking these spaces for giving me a chance to be able to share my work with the people of Adelaide.

Earlier this year I started supplying my work to Purple Cockatoo Gallery/Gifts in Magill, owned by an amazingly talented Ivana, who believes in giving a platform to local artists to showcase their work. Its a beautiful space for the community to buy hand crafted gifts for special people on memorable occasions. You can contact her through www.ivanadesigns.com.au incase you’re looking for a good space to exhibit your work.

Henna Craft then made its way to The Rarest Gem - Health, Yoga & Meditation,  in Norwood. It’s owned by two very special people, Kathy and Mick. They offer a variety of services and my favorite are Shiatsu and the Peaceful meditation classes. Its a sacred space for me as I will be having my next BIG photographic exhibition in August here called ‘ A Thread. A Web. A World ‘ - collaboration with Mandi Whitten (www.weensyweb.com). I have been very blessed to have Kathy and Mick as my neighbors, who have numerous times helped and supported my passion and I am very grateful to them again and again for gifting me a chance to use their magical space for showing my work. Please check the services they offer on www.rarestgem.com.au

After having a wonderful group exhibition ‘ Delineation’, at Red Poles, my work was accepted by them to be displayed in their retail space. It’s such a fabulous little cafe, gallery and B&B surrounded by stunning Vineyards. It’s one of my favorite places for lunch in Mc Laren Vale, just a few kilometers away from the city in a very quite and peaceful heavenly environment. They have short one day art classes too for all age groups, check it out on www.Redpoles.com.au

Since I moved to Adelaide, its been my dream to be accepted by the most famous Arty shop in the city - Urban Cow !!! Recently I was asked to put in my bowls in their retail space and luckily they have already sold a few. It took me a few weeks to believe this has actually happened … I walked in there with a few friends and got all emotional when I saw my work on their shelves. You can check their wonderful collection of Craft/Art by local Artists at www.urbancow.com.au

I have also been extremely lucky to have met Roy and Meree who own a delicious shop in Melbourne called Wax Bar. They have been very kind to help and promote Henna Craft in their city and have always encouraged and helped me grow as a business. Check out their lovely website where you can buy excellent hand made wax products online www.waxbar.com.au

I have been so blessed with such a wonderful opportunities. Its an amazing feeling to be able to share my work with the people of this country and I hope I can grow and spread my work around to many more magical spaces !!
