Diya Studio Open Day

DiyaStudio Open Day was a huge day for me, as we celebrated our first year making products of Henna craft. Thanks to everyone who came and supported my work, it turned out to be one of the best days of the year for me.

I couldn’t believe I knew so many amazing people…although because I was doing Henna, I didn’t get to talk to many, but I hope and pray no one left disappointed. I cherish every moment I spend with friendly people around me … they are my inspiration to keep improving my work and in return gift them with moments to treasure, with my Henna and of course Me!

I wanted to thank you all for being there for me and supporting my work. This whole year has been a big challenge and luckily because of the amazing support I have from friends, my Henna Journey in Adelaide has been very rewarding and satisfying.

I came to Adelaide four years ago and walked on Rundle Mall wondering if I ever will have friends in this new land of strangers … and now when I look around me, I am surrounded by so much love and friendship. It’s a blessing to be accepted here and be part of such a beautiful world of happiness. Many thanks for helping me make this my home!!!

Hi Humna,

Your open studio day was amazing, there was a lovely vibe there and your work really speaks to me :)(I bet preparing for the big day was a lot of work!)

Your henna work is beautiful and I love having a bit of the art on my hand, I wished it lasted longer, because it was so beautiful and when I looked at it, it made me feel a special :)

Keep up the good work and let me know what you’re up to in your creative endeavours!

Hi Humna,
I only came to the Open Studio briefly but was so impressed by the atmosphere you created! You brought such a lovely group of people together who could share in your art and your passions. I really admire how quickly you have created a support community for your work and also your philosophy of generosity and sharing.
Well done! I really loved coming into your urban sanctuary and finding a beatiful gift for a friend!

Hi Humna. The open day at your studio was beautiful. So relaxing and the atmosphere was great. My henna looked amazing. I appreciate it very much. The items you had for purchase were also beautiful. It was difficult deciding what to buy! I can’t wait until Sarah’s hens night to have more henna. See you soon.

Hi Humna
Thank you so much for inviting us to your open day. The atmosphere, people and surrounding were beautiful. My daguther Maya could not wait to get her design on her hand and my sister loved the bowls that I bought her. Would love to come to another one. You are a lovely person that can bring people together.

Thanks Karyn
