Blak Nite – Carclew Event
Blak Nite 2007, Organized by Carclew Youth Arts at Tandanya in Adelaide …
On the 19th Of May, I was invited to be a part of ” Blak Nite”, which was organized by Carclew, where I was treated beautifully. I happen to know some of the gorgeous girls who were taking part in the Fashion walk which was part of the night. They came over and invited me to watch their show, which made me feel so loved by them. One of them said ” we just came to check if you remember us”, I replied like I always do, ” I never forget people that i do henna on ! “. I touch not only their body but also their soul, we become one for a few moments when doing henna, and surely I can’t forget myself or anyone of them ! I always do remember something about every person, it could be the patterns, or maybe where i did their first henna painting, or the color of their eyes…whatever touches me really …. It’s magic and I love it !!
